(Ephesians 5:15–20, NLT) “Be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1. BE THANKFUL FOR EVERY DAY.
(Psalm 92:2, NLT) “It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening,”
(Lamentations 3:23, NLT) “Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.”
2. BE THANKFUL EVERY TIME YOU READ GOD’S WORD.
(2 Timothy 3:16, NLT) “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.”
(Psalm 119:72, Message) “Truth from your mouth means more to me than striking it rich in a gold mine.”
3. BE THANKFUL EVERY TIME YOU ARE BLESSED
(James 1:17, NLT) “Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.”
(Psalm 103:3, NLT) “He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.”
(Psalm 103:2, NLT) “Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.”
4. BE THANKFUL EVERY TIME GOD ANSWERS MY PRAYER
(Psalm 118:21, NLT) “I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory!”
(Romans 1:10, NLT) “One of the things I always pray for is the opportunity, God willing, to come at last to see you.”
5. BE THANKFUL EVERY TIME SOMEONE BECOMES A FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST
(Luke 15:10, NLT) “In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.”
THE ULTIMATE THANK YOU IS FOR MY SALVATION.
(Romans 10:9, NLT) “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
