Everyone needs a mission.

When I am on mission, I have joy.

(John 17:13, NLT) “Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy.

The truth about me is “I can make a difference in the world.”

(Matthew 13:43, NLT) “Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!

(Matthew 25:40, NLT) “I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!

(2 Kings 7:9, NLT)  “This is not right. This is a day of good news, and we aren’t sharing it with anyone! If we wait until morning, some calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let’s go back and tell the people at the palace.

GROWTHWORK

1. Discover the message of the Bible – God seeks lost people to love, forgive, save, and heal.

(Luke 19:10, NLT)  “For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.

2. Discover biographies of people God has used.

(Hebrews 12:1, NLT) “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

3. Stay Current.

(Luke 13:4, NLT) “And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem?

4. Stay Connected.

(1 Corinthians 12:26, NLT) “If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.

5. Look for opportunities.

(Galatians 6:10, NLT)  “Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.

6. Be practical.

(Luke 12:42–44, The Message) “The Master said, “Let me ask you: Who is the dependable manager, full of common sense, that the master puts in charge of his staff to feed them well and on time? He is a blessed man if when the master shows up he’s doing his job.
