(Acts 10:38, NLT) “You know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.”
(John 21:25, NLT) “Jesus also did many other things. If they were all written down, I suppose the whole world could not contain the books that would be written.”
1. It requires boldness to do good.
(Ephesians 2:10, NLT) “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
2. Doing good requires a life glowing with the Holy Spirit’s power.
(Romans 12:11, AMP) “Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.”
3. Doing good means that I must learn to see people as God does.
(1 Samuel 26:23, Message) “It’s God’s business to decide what to do with each of us in regard to what’s right and who’s loyal. God put your life in my hands today, but I wasn’t willing to lift a finger against God’s anointed.”
