1. MY LIFE IS SHAPED BY MY THOUGHTS.

(Proverbs 4:23, GN) “Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.”

Treasure development over debating.

2. LET GOD CHANGE THE WAY I THINK.

(Romans 12:2, NLT) “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.”

Treasure Christ like community.

3. MY THOUGHT LIFE IS GOD’S LIGHT FOR ME.

(Proverbs 20:27, CEV) “Our inner thoughts are a lamp from the Lord, and they search our hearts.”

(John 8:12, LB)  Jesus said to the people, “I am the Light of the world. So if you follow me, you won’t be stumbling through the darkness, for living light will flood your path.”

Treasure God’s presence: you are not alone!

GROWTHWORK

1. TAKE A WALK AND THINK ON THESE THINGS.

(Philippians 4:8, Message) “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.”

A. THINK ABOUT JESUS.

(2 Timothy 2:8, GW) “Always think about Jesus Christ.” (2 Timothy 2:8, GW)

B. THINK ABOUT OTHERS.

(Hebrews 10:24, NCV) “Let us think about each other and help each other to show love and do good deeds.”

C. THINK ABOUT ETERNITY.

(Colossians 3:2, The LB) “Let heaven fill your thoughts….”

2. TEAR DOWN EVERY BARRIER TO A LIFE SHAPED BY CHRIST.

(2 Corinthians 10:3–5, Message) “We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ.”
