(Matthew 13:58, NLT) “And so he did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.

(Romans 4:20, GN) “His faith did not leave him, and he did not doubt God’s promise; his faith filled him with power, and he gave praise to God.

1. Faith is choosing and believing God’s dream for my life.

(Proverbs 29:18, KJV) “Where there is no vision, the people perish.

(Ephesians 3:20, LB) “God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of—infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.

(Jeremiah 32:27, NLT) “I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?

(Psalm 2:8, NIV) “Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.

2. Faith is being willing to risk failure.

(Acts 15:26, CEV) “These men have risked their lives for our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Daniel 3:17–18, NIV) “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

(Proverbs 29:25, Message) “The fear of human opinion disables.

(Galatians 6:4, NIV) “Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else,

3. Faith is expecting God to bless and use me.

(Philippians 1:20, NCV) “I expect and hope that I will not fail Christ in anything but that I will have the courage now, as always, to show the greatness of Christ in my life here on earth, whether I live or die.

(Psalm 27:13, NAB) “I believe I shall enjoy the LORD’S goodness in the land of the living.

(Matthew 9:29, NIV) “According to your faith let it be done to you”;

(Hebrews 11:1, GW) “Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see.

4. Faith is never giving up.

(Psalm 31:24, Message) “Be brave. Be strong. Don’t give up. Expect God to get here soon.

(Psalm 119:109, LB) “My life hangs in the balance, but I will not give up obedience to your laws.

(Proverbs 24:16, CEV) “Even if good people fall seven times, they will get back up.

(Galatians 6:9, LB) “Let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up.

(Mark 9:24, NKJV) “Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”
